Coordinated Plan
The Capital Area Regional Transit Coordination Committee is working to develop a new Coordinated Plan for Public Transit and Health and Human Services Transportation. The plan will replace a Coordination Plan developed by the region in 2006. The updated plan will:

  • identify ways that the region's existing family of public transportation services (ranging from transit buses to agency vans to volunteer drivers) can be better coordinated to meet more needs,
  • identify cost-effective strategies for meeting unmet needs in the region, and
  • guide the prioritization of new services for funding through the Federal Transit Administration.
